AFY has way too much filler but its highs are better than Damita Jo's highs. although Damita Jo is the better album overall because it has less filler

Damita Jo has some of the best R&B and funkiest songs of her career imo (Slolove, I Want You, Like U Dont Love Me, All Nite, R&B Junkie, Sexhibition, Truly, Island Life). The album should have just been 4 or 5 songs shorter. Warmth and Moist were a BIT much and could have been condensed into one, & Strawberry Bounce and Just a Little While sound completely out of place.. All for You is more pop, but Damita Jo was more R&B (which makes sense because it was 2004 when dance-pop was completely dead)

Sorry there is nothing DATED about this album. It's called THROWBACK motown r&b feel. Just saying. I rather it sound throwback than most of the cheap beats people use of today.

i genuinely believe her when she says that this album is for us, her fans. she truly is the only sane member of her entire family. and the marriage to her husband has grounded her. she is def one of the most likeable legends.

i cannot believe that i dont skip a single track on her new album.

with MC last year and Janet this year, it feels like 1997/1998 again when all of the legends released absolutely phenomenal career defining albums. Unbreakable is one of those legendary albums. She realy clocked all of the current pop galz.

I couldn't disagree more. All For You has like, 2 or 3 fillers (and they ain't even bad) while Damita Jo has 5 or 6, some of which absolutely drag.

All For You is terribly underrated. It's her album with the best album tracks. People are crazy about Trust A Try, I think Truth is one of her best songs ever, When We Oooo, China Love and Love Scene are pure bliss, ethereal sex... Feels So Right was single worthy and Better Days is incredible, so uplifting, so well done.

As for Damita Jo I'd just slash Strawberry Bounce, Spending Time With You, Warmth, Moist and Truly. How can people say Damita Jo has less filler when it has these tracks?
