Her 7th album will probably be either a Bubblegum Pop cheese fest ( ) or some sort of Country album project thing together with Reba, Miranda, Trisha and so on. I wouldn't even mind her going Country at this point. I'd love to hear a sad Country ballad from her. It's not like she's ever coming back to tour hear anyway, so she can just go full blown Country. The best that could happen would be her making Rock or Alternative, but that won't ever happen again, so it'll be a mixture between Pop and Country I guess.

Kelly Clarkson dominates Toronto double header with Maroon 5
As pop duels go, this one wasn't exactly evenly matched.
So who came out on top in the battle of the network TV singing competition judge/mentors on Thursday night during a sold-out show at the Molson Amphitheatre as Kelly Clarkson opened for Adam Levine, frontman for Maroon 5?
I give it to Clarkson, the big-voiced belter, who mentored the little watched ABC summer 2012 singing show Duets, over the falsetto-included Levine, who is a judge on NBC’s continuing ratings success story The Voice.
There’s simply no competition when it comes Clarkson’s powerful pipes which she showed off to wonderful effect on her own hits Stronger, Behind These Hazel Eyes, My Life Would Suck Without U, the Avril Lavigne-penned Breakaway, the power ballad Because of You, Walk Away, Miss Independent, and covers of Jason Aldean’s Don’t You Want to Stay and Aretha Franklin’s I Never Loved a Man (The Way I Love You) over the course of a tight and bright hour-long set.
Not everyone can pull off a Queen of Soul cover but Clarkson handled it easily, powerfully and memorably.
She also delivered some good one-liners on everything from sweating profusely on the incredibly muggy night to her future husband.
“I wish I looked liked Beyonce when I sweat,” said Clarkson, who was backed by an eight-piece band.
As for her fiance Brandon Blackstock, the stepson of Reba McEntire with whom she plans to elope: “I love him so much it’s gross. My former self would hate me!”
And when introducing Mr. Know It All she said: “Anyone here dated a tool, know a tool, or work for a tool? I’ve done all three!”
Sadly, there was no mention of her “pitchy strippers,” comment about Miley Cyrus’ MTV VMA performance which has lead to an online war with some of Cyrus’ supporters.
Her encore, however, was an eye-catching glow-in-the-dark neon extravaganza with such songs as People Like Us and Since U Been Gone.
The heavily tattoed Levine, meanwhile, appeared to be God’s gift to the many females in the crowd judging from the screams whenever he did the slightest movement on stage and the number of homemade placards in his honour.
There was too much of a sameness to a lot of Maroon 5’s songs during their 95-minute set for my liking and that had me looking at my watch more than once. The audience, however, ate them all up - hit after hit like One More Night, This Love, Lucky Strike, Sunday Morning, Makes Me Wonder, Wake Up Call Won’t Go Home Without You, Love Somebody, Misery, and Stereo Hearts - the latter Levine’s chart-topper with Gym Glass Heroes - and the set-ending Moves Like Jagger complete with confetti.
But I did like the group’s choice of funk-disco covers - Prince’s I Wanna Be Your Lover and Daft Punk’s Get Lucky.
Levine also had his own style of charisma, charm and humour, particularly during the encore - which included Payphone, She Will Be Loved and Daylight - when he was talking about giving a guitar to a girl at the front of the crowd in Toronto.
The gesture went much better than the night before in Detroit where “a creepy older woman” had attacked the girl given the guitar.
