Judging by The Last Of Us sales, the public does not purchase games with 90+ metacritic score, crazy promo, hype, huge media coverage, and GOTY awards either
Had this waiting on me when I got home from work, and I don't pat attention to reviews when it comes to video games. I've enjoyed alot of games that were critically panned. Most of the reviewers are biased anyway.
Speaking of Metacritic, I'm not understanding why LR's score is much lower than the two previous installments of the franchise. I'm certain the latest game is MILES better than the previous ones.

The guide only cost me 10 dollars due to a sale my local Gamestop was doing that also gave me a 10 dollar gift certifiquite. I recommend looking into it. It is very detailed and pretty. I'd suggest Lightning Returns - I can see why people hate it but it gives me a NieR vibe which makes it very worthwhile imho.

most of the critics are MALE and in or close to their 30s. LR is NOT in their demographic.
That is when I get my PS4 which won't be until my birthday (June) or early fall. I need something to tide me over and I don't think Final Fantasy X X-2 HD will last me that long. Any other suggestions? Perhaps I rebuy The Last of Us?
