This is ridiculous. I won't comment on the allegations, but the case is absurdly flimsy and her attorney is a well-known huckster. The SOL exist for a reason, and she's free to work with whomever she wants. There's nothing to free her of other than Sony Music.
Anyway:
(1) During the ordeal, Dr. Luke hasn't stopped producing or releasing popular songs with Sony artists. You don't have to be named publicly to receive royalties. He's not working with Max, but he's great friends with L.A. Reid and is still working with all of his usual co-producers. In fact, he has another one out right now that's going to be a pretty big hit, and I'm surprised no one else picked up on it. When you think Dr. Luke, think of what he's great at: emulating gritty stuff that arrived two years ago and making it sound extremely expensive and polished (whether it's The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, or...you know, a pop-ified "2 On.")
