She does always thank her fans in general, but singles out the gay community b/c they're her biggest supporters...I guess it's weird to say "the straights."

The BR video supported the song like no other video in recent memory. Tbh I didn't "get' the song until I saw the video. The song was performing good but not great until the video made it explode.

It deserves to win.

I think BR because although TP was epic and interesting, IMO BR had a much bigger impact.
ie: Most viewed video on YT (until JB), it was the song EVERYONE was singing at the time, even Miley Cyrus changed a lyric in one of her songs when performing for the QUEEN to pay homage to Gaga and BR. She did the BR dance and everything
