Honestly, the only thing I see in here is people jumping to major conclusions. There is absolutely not much being Said about the sound of the ALBUM. Only the two tracks Elton heard, which his statements are vague and we truly aren't able to even decipher what he means by " back to the early stuff". The mere mention of "you & me" whatever that is, and "bad romance" have y'all again jumping to serious conclusions. It's not even Gaga's fault at this point, y'all set yourselves up.

His taste is old as hell and the guy probably doesn't even know how the internet works now a days to even understand the impact ARTPOP had, whether good or bad.

I also can guarantee you that Elton was not talking about Bad Romance. I know about the comment that Bruce did, and it's nice, but it's not the first time Gaga has been linked to Bruce.

I am 100% sure that TEOG was described by several sources + Gaga as a Bruce Springsteen type of song and I am sure Elton is talking about that one.
