In the Night is AMAZING even before it got the single treatment I've loved it. I need to check out Health at some point, as I see a lot of love for it here. Talk Dirty is good and I reaaaallllyy love that Sufjan song you picked. I thought his album was not all people said it was (I only listened to it last month), at least compared to previous albums, but I LOVE that song!
And I'm not smart for your hints, so surprise me!!!
Might be the last update for a bit. Maybe one smaller one tomorrow to get me to song 51.

In the Night is better than CFMF, but it's still bad imo
I miss them sometimes when I go to reply or multi-quote no shade.
But I'll give you a response now. Worth It is a jam. I am not gonna lie, whenever I'm stuck in traffic and the song comes on, I will throw a dance party in my car. I don't care who sees.
I agree about In The Night, and half agree with the other part of your statement.

Not crazy about Honeymoon but Lana still delivered a solid album. Can't wait to see the highest one.
I listened to Currents for the first time yesterday or 2 days ago. I wasn't a big fan. Should I give it another try?
I did some serious soul-searching about where to place that song. Not going to lie. I placed it, and just walked away.
Well, there's kind of a hint about Lana's highest placing song in your comment there
Currents kind of grew on me. It has it's moments. I'd give it another try in a couple days. It's a little glossy and might take some time to sink in if you know what I mean. It's alright when it does sink in

Sorry I am a little excited to get to the albums. I think I'm going to take a little break though.
I love how you called it Talk Dirty.
I agree on Sufjan. The album wasn't quite his best, but very good.
The way the chorus builds, gosh. It's like you're ascending to the heavens or at least the moon. I almost wish the whole song was chorus. Imagine if the song actually had a drop. You'd burn up in the atmosphere on the way down.
If Game went up to a forest with a torche and set it ablaze, I don't even think that would offer as much fire as On Me. Both bring their A-Game and Game sounds determined to show up Kendrick, and he kind of does. Tons of references to LA area rappers and albums to come from Los Angeles including To Pimp A Butterfly and Compton, On Me kind of sits at the epicenter of 2015 rap. It's also a rollercoaster ride of a song, almost serving the drop that begin again above promised.
Whereas On Me sits near the center of rap. Company positions itself in it's own little world. Drake's world to be exact. Part of the reason I loved his mixtape, is because it's a world builder, seemingly put together for the sole purpose of setting up the world that Views From The 6 will take place in. It's all ego and narcissism setting himself up as the only one that matters, and it's lonely at the top. Company is the frosty heart of If You're Reading This to me; seriously, that beat is colder than anything that came out of Yeezus, it's Dante's 9th circle cold, occupied only by Drake, looking for company.
I mean, it's pretty much obligatory for any pop fan no? Yes, it really is that good, unless you're the type of person that has a knee jerk reaction to things that everybody seems to like. Unless you resist like no other, there's no way not to be swept up in that chugging beat and the siren call of the sax, and all the things Carly promises. In addition to being a near perfect pop song, it's also the perfect album opener. It's romantic and extroverted, but with just a hint of sadness, only sounding like a plea at times rather than a suggestion. As good as it is, there's just one song on the album that outdoes it for me.
I'm kind of a romantic, just a little, and this song is so sweet, warm, and easy going, I can't help but love it. It's a little on the nose, but the song paints the picture so well "Every morning when you come downstairs / Hair's a mess but I don't care /No makeup on and shining so bright / My old sweatshirt never fit so right / Dancing around to the radio / Humming the words that you don't know," and gets those little details so right, in the way that only country music is capable of capturing. I think this is the first of my country songs also.
75-71 is definitely not my favourite set, I hate that Kelly and Fifth Harmony songs, Sufjan is great though.
70-66: I especially like leaves and Gosh. That Drake track (the solo one obvs) was cute too, I think. The mixtape didn't really have any obvious highlights though.
65-61: The Less I Know the Better is fantastic Glad to see some praise for Honeymoon, a really underrated track and the description is on point. I don't really like In the Night and I'm pressed it got released as a single over Acquainted.
60-56: Purity Ring are kind of cute but not for me, I guess. And Run Away With Me is a definition of modern classic, and I can see it being one in a few years. I'll forever be mad it flopped, it should have been a major smash instead of Call Me Maybe
