It just needs a flawless video and 1 performance at the Grammy's to go No.1
With this and WUTB released as the next single, she will effortlessly slay 2016, as well.
Y'all said the same when Taylor did a radio friendly catchy pop song which went on to be the biggest hits of her career - "These songs will flop" etc. It's the same concept.
Nothing changes the fact that its inevitable that when raw talent turns to easily accessible catchy pop songs - they go on to be the biggest of their careers.
When We Were Young will still see success, obviously, its a beautiful song. But Send My Love will be the next big smash after Hello.
Yes. That and "Water." Those should be the next singles in the U.S. Radio won't even play the original version of "Hello" anymore because it's so slow. If the label goes ahead and promotes this as the second single here, it'll probably do well on the adult stations and sell the album, but it's her least radio-friendly single to date.

If they wanted to speed it up a bit, it could have been so much better than that. I cringe when I imagine someone casually listening to the radio and thinking that radio edit is the original version
Well that's a thing. Strange though that the pop station in my area has never played this version since whenever any slower song gets a remix like this (see All of Me and Take Me to Church) they always play that version. They've always stuck to the original.
