Knowing that you're stupid gives you a higher form of enlightenment, especially moreso than those who are stupid and aren't self-aware to realize it, i.e. Lady Gaga. Forrest Gump becomes an acclaimed, celebrated, billionaire, all whilst being self-aware that he's not smart. Jenny, on the other hand, who is just as stupid as Forrest, isn't self-aware that she's stupid, and therefore can be represented here as Gaga, because, let's face it, Gaga also tried to kill herself and will probably, at some point, die of AIDS.
In conclusion, Beyoncé not giving interviews because she's aware she's a moron is a good thing, not a bad thing. With the invention of social media, she can still have a presence, without having to say a single word anymore.
(Note: Katy Perry is also a moron. She's not self-aware, unfortunately.)

The only tiresome thing in this thread is The Hive pretending they don't come into threads about our faves & throw shade or just straight up bash them. You guys get so hot & bothered, and overly sensitive when people come for Bey but there's a reason people do. & it has nothing to do with your fave.

No, but they expect Beyonce to sing/Dance, give world class speeches, give an interview 24/7 and end world hunger, cure cancer and AIDS.

What is the real need of Beyoncé to be giving interviews though? Like, being on the Vogue September issue cover increases you star power, celebrity reach, brand etc etc far more than doing X amount of tv and magazine interviews.
I've never heard of a magazine interview resulting in any significant benefits to an artists career unless they are new. The only time I can think it necessary to do multiple interviews is if you have a new album or project coming out. BEYONCÉ the album didn't need interviews to promote it since everyone knew about it. Her last film, Epic, had a few tv interviews, which were appropriate to promote it. She hasn't really had anything to raise awareness too or plug that would require an interview since then..

She went one era, so far, without doing an interview, and everyone wants to suddenly act like she's never done one her entire career. The horror.

No, you are just judging from the point of the public. You are not anymore obligated to Beyonce than anyone else. She is an entertainer and does a damn good job at it. She isn't here to make herself more relatable or a friendly figure to you. I don't personally like Rihanna' e-thuging or Ariana Grande decision to luck donuts and continously portray herself as a mean spirited diva but that's what they choose to do and frankly it's none of my business ![@michael.](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ATRL_Smilies_All/atrlers/micheal_zps45ccf519.gif)

Um, go post this in the NYTimes comment section, because they're the ones saying this, not me. All I've said is not doing interviews or speaking directly to the media seems fishy. Agree with me, or don't. I don't really care.

All these "I don't have anything to write about so i'll write about Beyoncé" articles are good for her career tbh. Keep talking y'all. The more pages, the better.

wait, so she has to do interviews just because she is on the magazine cover.

We're all entitled to opinions, but when it comes to Beyoncé, EVERYTHING is scrutinized.
I'm not in every thread though so I dunno how it goes most of the time, but do threads about artists that have nothing to do with their music and is as simple as "she is not doing interviews atm" get 15+ pages in very little time, filled mostly with bickering back and forth?
I have no issue with expressing my dislike but it's going to be about something they actually said not that they didn't say anything, or for their work.

This is a lie because we all know you care. If you didn't care you wouldn't make the thread. The Hive saw this article this morning and we didn't care enough to make a thread. Be real

Y'all hate Bey and say that you don't keep tabs on our fav and that you wouldn't watch her interviews because she's this that or another but now all of a sudden when she stops doing interviews for one era, y'all take issue with it and want her to do more....hmm

See?

No one is asking her to reveal her deepest secrets in interviews. Why can't she sit down for a normal conversation with a journalist? She's a celebrity, that's how the business work, get over it.
It makes it seem like she a) has something to hide or b) doesn't have anything interesting to say. And both options are quite bad.
