I heard this song more or less a month ago, and it really caught my eye at the first time. I haven't heard any song from this band never before. Now I'm gonna check out their stuff.
Gustavo Cerati
"Déjà Vu"
Fuerza Natural
This is not the first time Gustavo Cerati manage to be the higher latin artist in this countdown. But, to be honest, I think his latest album Fuerza Natural isn't as good as his previous ones. For example, Ahí Vamos is a more powerful album with great rock songs. It is true that Fuerza Natural has very good songs, and the concept of the whole album is great, but I prefer Cerati in his rock stage.
However, "Déjà Vu" is one of the best songs of the album. The video is quite weird and mysterious. Also it is original because he does not include the entire song in the video, less than two minutes of the song is in it.
The Killers
"A Dustland Fairytale"
Day & Age
I didn't like this song the first time I heard it. It was boring for me. But after see them perfonrming this song live, I changed my mind. I loved that performance. And that's the main reason it is Top 20 of the year. The Killers did it again.
Jason Mraz featuring
Colbie Caillat "Lucky"
We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things
What a beautiful song! One of the best collaborations of the year undoubtedly. Obviously I refer to the Colbie Caillat's version because the Spanish version sucks a lot (maybe it would be in my 'Bottom of the year', lol).
Friendly Fires
"Skeleton Boy"
Friendly Fires
Another great song and video! Very original and enjoyable video. This is the second and last appearance of Friendly Fires on the whole top 100.
