Anyone without stan goggles can see that it was purposefully cringeworthy and the acting was purposefully bad and exaggerated. The only way this song is gonna become a hit is if the video goes viral and that's one of the best ways to get word of mouth. It's not that hard to understand.

this was SO cute!!!!!! and the actually paid decent homage to the movie (i realized during the first scene by the pool that it looked awfully familiar... i def watched earth girls are easy a few years ago )
britney seriously looked amazing! wtf! iggy's acting in that one scene was legit the only bad part of the video and idec. she looked natural and happy and the dancing was on point. i'm slayed
Video was cute. One of Britney's best in recent memory in terms of visuals and general engagement. Wish the dance breaks weren't cut to hell but it's expected considering Iggy said dancing wasn't the main focus.
I have no real complaints. All of Brit's videos should be this fun (for her). It didn't feel like she was working. People are gonna hate on the dancing, people are gonna hate period. 95% of the established pop girls don't dance in their videos anymore. Is Brit serving director's cut "Slave 4 U"? No, but it's still good nonetheless.
