I say #11-14 range, actually. I won't be surprised if it gets a top 10 debut, but I'll sure be p*ssed.
The song dropped on iTunes kinda fast, 150K+ is probably guaranteed, but that doesn't translate to top 10 debut nowadays. It has barely any radio airplay & it plummeted out of the Spotify iTunes v fast.
The fact that in six months (6 September - 6 March) there have only been four number ones: Shake It Off, All About That Bass, Blank Space and Uptown Funk!.

Yeah, the charts are really slowing down. It's getting to 2002-2005 where they had the lowest amount of #1's in history.
2005 only had 8 #1's the whole year -- 2 spent 1 week at #1. Therefore 6 #1's basically spent the entirety of those 12 months at #1.
If you don't count Carrie's American Idol song that went #1 for 1 week, then from January - September only 5 songs went #1 in US.
I actually love it this way though. As in 2005 with Let Me Love You, Candy Shop, Hollaback Girl, We Belong Together, Gold Digger, and Run It! the songs that went #1 and spent a lot of time were actually huge and iconic. All About That Bass, Shake It Off, Blank Space, and Uptown Funk! are all iconic hits that deserved to take up that time. I just dislike when it's a new #1 every week.

2 of those are masterpieces by the greatest artist alive.
