It absolutely does, that comment was incredibly inappropriate and incredibly racist against blacks. Likewise, Azealia's tweet was incredibly racist (
by the dictionary definition) against whites. What's especially sad about Azealia is, even if she makes a valid point, it's overshadowed by her own negative personality, racism, and homophobia.
I do, however, think some people look for racism in everything. While it still exists today, Macklemore winning over Kendrick on
popularity (which is also BS, btw) is not racism. It's a bad decision and they sold out on popularity, but if races were reversed, the results would have gone the same way. The Grammys do not hate black people, as evidenced by Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Mariah, Kanye, Whitney, etc. winning ones
