^^ probably, but I'm not a big fan of any of the four bonus tracks tbh. I think they're nice, but NV's bonus tracks are all awesome compared to SAM's. Then again, I've known NV's for a much longer time, so maybe the new ones will grow on me

Yas so glad to hear you like it. The one thing that truly bothers me on the standard is actually the bridge of Hopeless Opus and that stupid stuttering effect on his voice. Like, no offense, but it's not some silly Kesha or nicki Minaj song that has no bridge. They couldn't have come up with something more clever than thst? Well, the rest of the song is awesome so ;-P

I managed to listen to 3 tracks only and it is very unimpressive.
How they manage to make their OWN alternative direction by taking a pop record and shifting electronic sounds with instruments
Let me stick to Coldplay and Florence + the Machine

Gonna listen again today. Though I understand what everyone else is saying, I still really like and appreciate the album

This is just the risk they needed to take, this is one of those love it or hate it records, I guess.
The fact they tried to produce everything beside the soundtrack songs, Dream and Gold is amazing.

Well they still co produced those two! Also, another thing I love about it..... Dans vocals aren't polished at all. They're very raw, you can tell. Like it sounds like a high quality live performance the entire album. His vocals sound real and organic, not processed. The album has some technically flaws, but it's a very organic, genuine body of work, and the fact that they did it practically alone makes me like It a lot more

I honestly find this album to be quite impressive. Night Visions was good but a little to mainstream in my opinion where as this record is more their own sound. I feel as their career continues to progress their sound will be really recognizable just like other bands. Great album overall I'll definitely be buying a copy soon

Yas, the praise starting to come in. I thoroughly enjoy every listen. Each song is very different, but the overall theme stands strong and it's so cohesice. Themstically, one of the more cohesive bodies of work I've seen recently. The album is about exactly what it implies and there are no songs that dont belong
