I've seen her last 4 tours and the last 2 were stadiums/open air here in Zurich.

S&S was in front of about 70'000 people outside That was the first time she performed in Switzerland though so people were really curious.

For MDNA she was in the Letzigrund Stadium which sold I guess about 35'000 tickets but I have great memories cause we won tix for the golden triangle hehe.

I have to say though I prefer the atmosphere in arenas more though.

Anyway, yes she is really a touring force (rightfully).

Yeah but if someone told you the exact same thing about a Michael Jackson tour, that the DVD tour was better, that the crowd was mostly middle-aged people and "a few gays" (I'm gay btw so I guess I'd be one of them?) and you'd have to wait 3 hours to wait for him, would you say "ok then I won't go" or would you seize the opportunity to see the King of Pop live? Even if only to say you had, it seems worth it to me. Besides, everyone's experiences are subjective.

I was thinking more along the lines of she got into a car crash or diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer or something. Wasn't being ageist or anything I know that can happen to any pop star, but terminal diseases (like cancer) do become more common the older we get, despite the fact that Madonna is phenomenally healthy.

I was planning on coming from Canada to see This Is It There are so many legends I need to see on my bucket list because they're just so amazing to pass up even if I'm only a casual fan who only knows the hit songs.

Wait hahahaha...I should clarify what I meant. I meant "that could happen to any pop star" about 'the car crash' thing, but if another pop star died suddenly, I would be like "oh what a shame, she was so young, and at the beginning of her career" because she wasn't a certified legened yet. Whereas if it happened to Madonna i'd be like "****ing hell, should have seen her when I had the chance." And as for the terminal diseases thing, that could be interpreted as a bit ageisT but it's true. She'll be fine though, she's a health freak and looks after herself and would get regular check-ups.

But if she were to suddenly die, I'd be annoyed I never seized the opportunity to see her live. Whereas with other current pop girls, everyone would be like "oh what a tragedy, she was so, so young!"

But yeah, I don't think anyone imagines Madonna retiring soon/ever.
