A bit off-topic, but a friend of mine who is a very vocal feminist likes Lana. She once said while discussing her that Lana as an artist should not be judged for what she wants to write about. It's her artistic expression. She seems to be very much in control of what she is doing and that it's something people should applaud her for, unlike other female artists who pretend to be a strong figure, who are actively selling this message, but are the completle opposite in truth with zero own involvement in their music. (better not mentioning names here

For the constant bashing towards Lana coming from feminists she had a major eye roll.
