I'm sorry but repetative lyrics are often a big part of Taylor's song (nothing wrong with that, it's just her way of writing songs)

I definitely agree that lyrics were compromised in WANEGBT, but IKYWT and 22 are both pretty well written IMO.

I mean, so many were begging Katy to expand her style. Yet Taylor, gets an annoying ego with 3 MM pop songs and y'all are thirsty for more.

She started as a country artist with integrity. I enjoy 22 and Trouble but most of my friends who are avid Taylor fans didn't.

I wish her all the best, AND all the power to her if she wants to be a pop artist, but you are delusional if you think a full pop album won't alienate country fans.

I have a gut feeling LP5 will be even bigger than Red! I think Max Martin/Shellback really put down the foundations for a new sound for Taylor on Red, but for the next record they will really build on it.

I think the record will be 50/50, it will have pure pop songs, but then some country songs to keep her fan base close - I don't think she'd be silly enough to completely alienate her fan base! I love both sides of Taylor so LP5 is probably going to be a dream come true for me!
