Kesha IS a rapper, Lauryn IS a rapper, they're both mainly seen as singers and not rappers.
I'm not saying that Tik Tok counts as a rap song, I'm saying if you count Lauryn Hill as a rapper and Doo Wop as a rap song then Tik Tok is a rap song, so is We R Who We R etc

What is a rapper? Please fill us in because from what I grew up on, a rapper is someone that speaks in rhythmic rhymes. Is that not what Kesha does in some of her songs? You may not think it's good, but a lot of people don't think a lot of singers are good, either, but they're allowed to hold that title because they sing and put it out.

I mean, one could argue that Kesha raps more comfortably in a live performance setting than Iggy Azalea, who is a rapper.
