I feel like this will be a Tropical Storm Emily like type of storm where it fizzles out as soon as it hits the Caribbean
If it hits the Caribbean, that's likely, as wind shear is extremely high there. However, some of the computer models are curving it so it goes north of the islands, where it would be a different story.

However now I don't think it'll hit FL as bad, unless it picks up momentum after it hits the Caribbean which is unlikely..but I've seen it happen

We have really warms waters, storms can intensify really quickly once they enter FL territory. Remember Katrina? It was a tropical storm before it hit us and then it was "oh it's hurricane now guys!"
