Do you really think EVERY person would accept ALL of the homosexual lifestyle all at once? It takes time. He respects you but he is still unclear about certain things like this.

I don't care about his opinions about anything, he is one of the most irrelevant people, possibly one of the last I would listen to. I am worried however that he has an effect on people's opinion. Not only him but religion in general.

The problem is that he is far from being irrelevant... He was named the most infuential person by TIME magazine last year so the impact of everything he says is huuuge not only in regular citizens but in politics and other stuff. It should't be that way but man, it happens

People expect too much. For a true change, you have to take small steps. It was kind of big already that he didn't condemn gay people. It's weird though that he apparently just found out about gay marriage when gay marriage is allowed in his own country. Seems a little strange to me.

I don't think every person will accept gay people, but imo they should. What they do with their lifes is their problem why should I care about what a gay couple do if they are not doing anything wrong... Human rights shouldn't be something up to discussion in the 21st century.
