They have always been released a few hours before the show starts, it's been like that pretty much since the beginning (I think?). And I'm not sure about that, I guess they should count, but I'm not certain.

Oh sorry, let me clarify, what I meant was that I thought they weren't available for purchase until after the show even if they had been uploaded before.

At least on one week I saw the songs uploaded before the show but there was no cover art, no preview, and you couldn't buy them. But then again, maybe you can always buy them before the show, and the week I saw gave me a false impression of what's the norm.

And on the song pages, it says voting only counts if songs are purchased between 9:55 PM EST tonight and 11 AM EST tomorrow. So I guess maybe some people are buying already without caring how it affects the vote

I hate it when two singing shows that are airing at the same time are that use the same song choices so close to each other.

I like this season how the top purchase seems to be shifting between the teams. Makes it less predictable unlike the last two seasons. Hopefully Christina can pull a win. Lmao.

It's pretty clear Cee Lo's team is numbered. Caroline is on borrowed time. I wonder if his recent court stuff has gotten people turned against him? (along with his terrible and outdated song choices).

Probably mostly the latter. His song choices are the pits. I think Caroline will make it to at least Top 6. Idk why Adam is celebrating when all 3 of his saved. Before he knows it 2 of his contestants will get punched out like it happened before I see Christina's peeps making it into Top 4 if she gives them better song choices.

I'm ready for the meltdowns next week. Xtina needs not to **** up. Jacquie needs a huge song a la "I Put A Smell On You" or "Love is Blindness". And a more rock/alternative song for Matthew, not another ballad.

This top8 is very strong, everybody could win/be eliminated. Song choices are fatal.

Right now the strongest look Matthew, James and Cole.

Poor Cee Lo, He's the Xtina of last year. And not his two artists being in the bottom 3. I though Caroline would be in the finale, until las night.

We shouldn't have to do this. I hate the "save." East coast people shouldn't be in total control of the most important result. (And I love you east coasters, but I'm just sayin'... it's not my fault I'm three hours behind in the time zone.)

I'm surprised Adam's team is still fully in tact. I swear, if Christina or Ceelo don't win this season, I'm going to be pissed. Adam and ESPECIALLY Blake have taken their victory lap. It's time for a new champion.

Rooting for Matt, Jacq and Caroline all the way. As someone said upthread, song choice is fatal. Ceelo needs to stop picking these wonky ass songs and get real. Think iTunes, think votes. Time to play a calculated game and start pandering to what their fanbases would like. It's a strategic game, too.

Caroline was at 4th place in iTunes, I didn't expect her to be in the bottom 3 poor CeeLo.

Good results very predictable. Next week will be interesting because all of them have been so close to each other in iTunes.
