Lol, Rouge is a very unrealistic wish for the roster.
Besides, Shadow or Knuckles would be better, but I doubt we'd get a new Sonic character, considering how "special" third-party people are.

Wii U and 3DS versions will not interact online together but there will be "customizable characters" that you can send back and forth from one version to the other. Details on what this entails to come.
From the sounds of things, the 3DS is limiting the roster size and they want to keep the characters the same in both games. If the 3DS version is adversely affecting the Wii U version and leads to potential characters being cut, I will be upset.
Got this info from lots of little articles that trickled out today from interviews with Sakurai Google around to find them, I have yet to find a cohesive article where it is all in one place. :'[

Yes, I'mma need the daily updates. They were so exciting leading up to Brawl. I remember rushing home from school to see what it was every day.
So thankful tripping has been cut; it was probably the stupidest addition in Brawl. That's unfortunate about the roster size, though. But I don't really mind that much because I'll probably be buying both versions (just need a Wii U first).
