Suite IV is more commercial, Suite V is more lyrical. So Suite IV is definitely going to be more easily acceptable on first listen.
I do like The ArchAndroid more (so far). Who knows what'll happen with time, but I really miss the storyline. The ArchAndroid told a story from track to track, one that I love to get lost in, and The Electric Lady is more a collection of amazing songs. The whole album is more of a political statement for Cindi, and I appreciate it, I just hope she goes back a lot closer to the Cindi/Anthony storyline for Suites VI and VII. As I said earlier, the 57821/Say You'll Go/BaBopBye Ya trio are still the most amazing thing to happen to music in the past 10 years and I think The Electric Lady is kinda missing that album closure.
HAVING SAID THAT, I still stan for the album. And I'm sure it'll grow on me even more with time. The weird/amazing thing about Jane is that you discover something new and different with each listen. I'm still learning things on The ArchAndroid and I've heard that album hundreds of times so I look forward to really getting in depth and experiencing it more and more.
