Let me just say. This has the biggest airplay on URB and #4 on RHY.
Stay is #24 on POP and she releases a video for that snoozefest.
just saying...
I don't think it's racist or anything. The pop single will usually have priority over the urban single. And Stay is a single worldwide as well. Here in the UK Stay has already been in the top 10 for a couple of months, and people were wondering for ages why it has no music video.
Are there going to be any remixes commissioned for Pour It Up? It's great as a hip hop track but it'd probably also be a hot dance song too. She might as well add another #1 dance hit to her resume.

They don't usually do remixes for hip hop songs (except for remixes with other featured rappers), since they're usually good amazing for clubs in their original form. Whilst most pop songs don't work well in clubs, so that's where the remixes come in. However, we have had remixes for songs like this before, so you never know.
This song was released too soon, what's the point of doing that when you're still not gonna promote it? If Rihanna doesn't start promoting, the song will become another Va Va Voom. Pour It Up is doing very well right now and wants to smash, so Rihanna, the time for promoting is NOW.
I think the point of this song is to be an Urban only hit. It's exploding without any promo...
Like, it's inching up the top 20 on overall radio, by JUST having Urban and some minimal Pop spins.
I don't even think it needs a video, really. Is she gonna make one, though?
For every person that gets life from Pour It Up there are two falling asleep from Stay.
She needs to promote this. Release a clean edit to Pop Radio. Release a video. This has potential to be a bigger hit than anything else right now.
Haha hilarious but you may have a point.. I believe stay was to promote a longevity of album sales though. I would think her team was hoping for sometype of Adele like affect, with winter coming to an end and spring approaching i doubt her team was aiming for a #1 in my opinion
How can She let this SMASH Flop I mean with no promo it has already been doing better then that Snooze fest stay! At least give us a Video we can twerk too!!
Pour it up is #1 on Urban top ten on rhythmic and sitting in the top 40 on iTunes and hasn't been released to streaming all of this without promo. I don't think she ever needs to perform this song except maybe at the BET awards later this year. It's doing fine on its own. I do think screenings will do wonders for this track though.
