While she does have a lot of things going for her, until I can see her act like Beyonce, then no...Beyonce is the full sing/dance/act package. Even though you updated the first post to try and bias the people in the thread, being well-rounded doesn't mean you are more involved with music...that goes under the music category where, not shockingly, Beyonce is awesome.
She's a talented lyricist and a writer, an brilliant vocalist and a technician, a high skilled dancer, a decent actress, and AMAZING performer, a very high fitness level and an excellent business woman.
Oh and she's got the looks and the body.
Beyonce's expertise are in a number of fields, and unlike Gaga, they are at a HIGH LEVEL, not just decent.

Um no,I haven't tried to bias anyone, and I'm pretty sure that won't affect anyone's sense of comprehension to the point that they change their mind anyways.I think it's about how you define 'all-rounded'.I meant someone who posseses all qualities anyone will want a popstar to have, and I think a lot of ppl including myself would like them being more involved in their work.
If we're talking about gritty vaudeville showmanship with a hint of saloon, GaGa takes the cake.
However, I think a well-rounded popstar offers more than some keyboard tricks, shameless narcissism and ambition. GaGa's image is well-crafted, and in many ways, her showmanship is well-rounded, but she is not as well rounded as her contemporaries because she only gives us the show.
GaGa's life is so public, we don't see another side to her. The poor sainted bitch has a lot of cute slogans and campaigns, but where are her personal receipts? She has no pictures, no video footage, no sound bites to back up any of her persecution claims.
Now let's look at our other favorite divas: Britney was roasted in the press after her self-destructive meltdown and razorfest; Beyonce shared all the joys of childbirth and starting a family; Ke$ha pees in sinks in front of paparazzo because she just doesn't give a ****. And then there's GaGa, the italian girl from NYC who claims to guzzle marinara and meatballs, then tweets that popstars don't eat. I don't buy the authenticity of her persona. I see her as a one-dimensional sideshow who has to shock the world with meat dresses because there's not enough substance in her personal life and relationships to make the front page of US Weekly.

Your font makes my computer screen bleed.
Anyway, Gaga is the total pop music package. Even if we were to consider being attractive a talent, she ain't ugly and has a sexy body.
My fave got signed by Jay-Z the day they met, because he was so impressed by her talent, not only her looks. Wasn't Gaga rejected by DefJam? Guess they weren't so impressed by her.
A mistake that they have to live and wake up with everyday of their lives.

Interesting post. You could argue her supposed lack of authenticity makes her the most "pop star" of all, though.
I love this:
"If we're talking about gritty vaudeville showmanship with a hint of saloon, GaGa takes the cake."
Brilliant!
She's a talented lyricist and a writer, an brilliant vocalist and a technician, a high skilled dancer, a decent actress, and AMAZING performer, a very high fitness level and an excellent business woman.

Lies spotted, sis.
Beyonce is not a talented lyricist and writer. Excellent singer and performer, yes, but not very good at songwriting. She's a good businesswoman, but has not done it on the level that Gaga has, and the receipts are all over the internet. I'm not saying Gaga necessarily blows Beyonce out of the water overall, because it's close, but to say Beyonce does everything at a "high level" and with a level of "expertise" while Gaga just does everything "decently" is just an utter lie
Beyonce is one of the best singers and dancers but thats where it ends.
She doesn't write like Gaga or play an instrument but she is still my favourite diva
Putting stan card aside, she really is the whole package. No other pop star atm is as well-rounded as she is. I am telling this form unbiased position and you can't diminish her talent.
i think Cher Lloyd, and time will confirm that.
being a pop star isn;t about being a singer and a dancer, it's about being an icon and sending a message across and I feel Lady Gaga tries to hard and sometimes doesn't even understand her own message.
