Yeah he apologized over and over, but once people have made up their mind in a negative way then it's hard to win them back. He still has a following in Latin America, his new album El Amor Es Una Cosa Simple did pretty well there. But I don't expect him to ever be popular there again, especially now that he came out as gay. It's just another thing that they can attack him for.

As far as him being gay, it didn't affect Ricki Martin at all. He's doing really well. But, I get what you're saying, but it's still not impossible.
I just heard it. It's amazing. Lol I had a little conversation with my mom and she said she remembers him. She said she loved the song that he was slaying in Mexico with but can't remember the name of it. Anyways, let me call my local Spanish radio station and see if they can play el amor es una cosa simple and see what they tell me.
I hope he does then, maybe hearing the songs live will change your mind.
