JEIBERT'S Best of 2011 | [#56][#110-108][#28] NEW UPDATE UP!
JASON DERULO- "Future History"

Genre: R&B, pop
Label: Beluga Heights, Warner Bros.
Producers: BeatGeek, Jason Derülo (exec.), DJ Frank E, The Fliptones, Frank Harris (also exec.), Heather Jeanette, Claude Kelly, Emanuel "Eman" Kiriakou, Carlos "Los" McKinney, Terius Nash, The Outerlimits, RedOne, Tim Roberts, Frank Romano, J. R. Rotem, Geo Slam, Pat Thrall, JD Walker
A follow-up to his self titled debut album, Jason Derulo brings it again with this second effort. It contains dance pop tracks (“Don’t Wanna Go Home”, “Breathing”) as well as great pop R&B midtempos (“It Girl”, ”Be Careful”, “Givin’ Up”). We may notice that the album contains great examples of samples on the tracks too. It’s definitely a step up from his previous album for me, but his career isn’t going anywhere, just a bit bad that the album debuted with such disappointing sales. Hopefully, Jason will just have more promotions for his future releases because definitely I’ll expect more amazing music from him.

This powerhouse ensemble of track which features a range of artists starting from Rihanna (who is the only one credited to the song) to veterans like Elton John, is one of my most favorite tracks from Kanye's masterpiece album! Listening to this song take you a whirlwind of sound and the marching beat is just so uplifting! For best results, play this song when you're watchin a firework show! Again, it charted low because the video didn't help me on loving more this song when I already *****d it out of repeating.
KATY PERRY- "The One that Got Away"
"...In another life, I would be your girl, We'd keep all our promises, Be us against the world, In another life, I would make you stay, So I don't have to say, You were the one that got away, The one that got away..."

Weeks on Chart: 3 weeks (and currently charting) Peak Position: #02
Wow! Can you believe this song is Katy's 6th single from her "Teenage Dream" album?! Yeah, that's right, and it still sound fresh after all! Honestly, it wasn't my fave upon listening to the album at first. But then, with the help of the epic video, and seldom listening, it indeed grew on me!. I just came to realize that it is indeed a Katy Perry song which suits her very well!. Too much pressure was put unto the song to be the 6th #1 but at least it's Top 4 now!
KATY B - "Witches' Brew"
"..Oh oh ooooh, Come see what I got for you, All the others got me misunderstood, Come with me, I'll make you feel so good, Come with me, I'll make you feel so good, Oh oh ooooh..."
Album: On a Mission Release Date: August 28, 2011 Genre: Breakbeat, electro Length: 3:20 Label: Columbia, Rinse Writer(s): Katy B, DJ Zinc, Geeneus, Sam Frank Producer(s): DJ Zinc
Weeks on Chart: 3 weeks Peak Position: #07
After the last update, here's Katy B again making the list! Just like her other songs, this is another magnificent track! The whooping loops of beats over the song is just very recognizable while the mystery of the is concluded by its lyrics. I'm very glad this was released as a single but compared to her previous ones, it flopped miserably on the charts...But who cares?! The song remains one of the album's strong songs if not one of the best. If you have noticed in my chart, this is one of the three Katy B songs that struck the top 10 for an invasion!
Origin: Las Vegas, Nevada, United States Genres: Pop punk, alternative rock, emo pop Label: Decaydance, Fueled by Ramen Members: Spencer Smith, Brendon Urie Website:www.panicatthedisco.com
After the departure of 2 of their members, Panic! at the Disco is back to please their fans like me! Their comeback reminds me of the back to basics Panic with their debut compared to their last era, and I'm glad I liked it. There were obvious changes in their music because Brendon was now the main songwriter, replacing Ryan Ross, and I'm glad he pulled great outcome of music. Their new album and music videos this era brought me my attention too! Honestly, I'm still anticipating for what's in store for the now duo group! Hopefully they will keep their theatrical signature style for the rest of their future records! We know that Panic is here to stay (hopefully) don't we?
