OK I have a serious question that I've been thinking about last week. Gaga sold 1.1 M copies in the first week but has only sold like 1.8M overall in nearing 7 months. Had she not have that discount the first week do you think she would be able to pass Loud's numbers by now in the US

I mean.. she is YET to double her first week sales overall.

It's true that these girls have out performed the "old trinity" this year but it's disappointing that the "new trinity" can't match the peaks can't match the peaks of the old one (excluding Adele). The new group is also less well rounded and doesn't dominate in touring, endorsements, and pop culture.
