It's a country-pop album, like all her albums. She has been getting more pop by each album though.
I think she started out as country but by now she has clearly evolved into a pop artist, it's not her fault that she still has a country following and does well on country radio for no reason. But tbh you can't call Fearless or even her debut country albums. All the important songs from fearless that ppl know, minus love story are straight up pop songs
Yup, and she gets the better deal because she gets those huge sales from the combination of her Country + Pop stan bases.
GaGa and Britney, Ke$ha should be proud, they are PURE pop acts that get thier sales from basically their pop bases, they don't depend on more than one genera to get them good sales.
But Rihanna and Bey aren't pure pop
Taylor is fine and she deserves to be on the list, she has all the receipts and she was very HUGE during that time frame.
This list is only counting sales from the US.... Because if they were counting world-wide sales, some of those girls that are high in the list would be on the bottom.
