True. A 70 would be great for her. She's at a disadvantage because a lot of "serious" writers who wouldn't bother reviewing most pop discs WILL be reviewing her album.

There's plently of time and plently of positive scores that have not been counted yet. However, anything in the 70s is good for me.

Critics typically like pretentious alternative or underground Hip Hop albums. Even Madonna has been falling by the wayside with critics. They do not typically like Pop, R&B, mainstream Hip Hop or Country music.

The only recent pop album that pull a score over 80 is 'Body Talk' by Robyn.
Pulling a 86. However, she is not the typical pop act.

Kanye is an anomaly, anyone hoping for their fave to touch his critical success will never get their wish. Kanye is easily the most critically-acclaimed mainstream star of this generation. His LOWEST Metascore is higher than most other stars' highest. His music is fantastic, but I also think his asshole attitude and enormous ego appeal to the sensibilities of hipster music writers.
