It's a hot song and it was a hot song 800 plays ago..
There's nothing wrong with wanting it to die
I want to start hearing Last Friday Night anyways..
btw I dont consider 25 days ''just hitting'' #1.

It still is a hot song and the only reason you want it to die is because you want your other favs to smash, which is a feeble reason tbh. Osama forbid a song gets to the summit and ACTUALLY has longevity on top, unlike some others that just freefall outside the Top 10 in less than a month.
I'm pretty sure 24 days ago it was Cee Lo at #1 on Pop
NEXT!

I should, but these moods/moments just come and go with me. I'll go check it out though.
Have I mentioned how much I love this gif?
Just to stay on topic, The Script is doing REALLY well on Pop. I hope they manage to reach Top 10.

Since when has a song's success affected another song's success on radio? If E.T. is affecting "Judas"'s spins and AI, then how come it's not affecting RITD, "Lazy Song," and other songs that are impacting right now? Perhaps, "Judas" is not smash-worthy, hence why it's not doing that well on iTunes as well.

Umm, no one is making excuses. Clear channel, which accounts for 900 radio stations, aren't playing JUDAS at all. That's a fact. And just as easily as you claim some GaGa stans are making excuses it can also be said that your dislike for the song is leading you to believe an irrational and illogical reality. Even if the song was "weak" it would still be doing better than the D.O.A status it's clinging to based off her name alone.

Well, perhaps that's an issue with "Judas," not "E.T."
Seriously, "Judas" isn't that great of a song. It's loud and obnoxious. It also uses a Biblical figure as a metaphor. It's not catchy at all. Perhaps radio is not interested in the song as much as GaGa's previous singles. "E.T." isn't affecting the successes of other songs.

Maybe they aren't playing it because they DON'T wanna play it?

I think its happening. Here in Y100 Miami its number 11 on our playlist but they don't play it much at all and Z100 its number 9 and they do not play it much either.

Again, even if they weren't estatic about the song they would still play it some. Clear Channel radio's aren't playing it at all, nor did they play it even a few times to gauge audience reaction. They never attempted to give it a chance. What about that is so hard to comprehend? Clear channel, for whatever reason is not allowing their radio's to play the song.
It's weird that people here pay so much attention to radio chart numbers yet fail to actually turn on the radio.

OK?! They gave it a chance the first two weeks it was out, and now they are moving on. Not every GaGa song will get the special treatment. Songs flop on radio all the time. Boo hoo. There is no personal vendetta against GaGa. There are plenty of good songs getting ignored on radio. People are not that into the song, considering how it's faring on iTunes.

What are you talking about? Are you in America? Clear Channel did not play JUDAS at all. There was no "chance" given in the first two weeks. And you keep mentioning the song's itunes position and fail to take into account that it's not being supported by most stations, including the largest one's in the nation. It's virtually unknown outside the internet geek/gaga crowd.
And who said it was a personal vendetta against GaGa? I sure didn't. If anything it's likely due to a fall-out between interscope and clear channel as they were obviously working together during the premier of BTW, which they gave hourly spinning from all of their stations. Something obviously turned very sour.

Sounds like excuses to me.
You need to ask yourself why its not getting much support on Clear Channel. I mean, it pretty obvious why, and many folks have stated reasons why.

Perhaps they're trying to cool it with Judas?
Radio stations lost a lot of audiences when they played BTW practically non-stop, even after complaints of the people.

I was expecting a better responce than that. Putting your bias aside, do you honestly think it's logical or only modestly irrational for clear channel to single handedly make her first single the biggest airplay gainer ever, then turn around and not play judas even once....
It's clearly a buisness deal gone wrong that i'm sure interscope is trying desperately to patch back together.
