Oh yeah forgot to look at Frank Ocean's album. He might got something on the Hot 100, but certainly not in the top 50.
But of course it could easily be #51 and go recurrent.

smh. If Rih's team had been the ones to release Too Good it would be Top 3 by now. Tired of Drake's shenanigans.

I hope Closer blocked Major Lazer so they stop making songs that sound like Lean On...

Not really, the only difference would be a video, but it would still be a basic uneventful one. ![toofunny2](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ATRL_Smilies_All/faces/toofunny2_zpsb54f2d2d.gif) They're both messy af

lol true. But Major Lazer are supposed to be a lot more famous than The Chainsmokers and Justin Bieber is supposed to be a lot more famous than Halsey. If they get blocked by a completely different sounding song by a rival dance artist they might decide to release something that sounds different.
Probably wishful thinking, they will probably keep releasing songs that sound like Lean On until they start flopping (which might take years tbh).
To clarify, I have loved Diplo for years. So many amazing songs, Watch Out For This, Earthquake, Look At Me Now, a song with Tiesto and Busta Rhymes that I forgot the name of, Climax, Bubble Butt, Pon De Floor/Run The World, Doctor Pepper, Be Right There, a song with Skrillex and Kiesza that I forgot the name of. He does such a wide variety of music but when he gets chart success he suddenly just does the same kind of songs all the time.
Lean On, Light It Up and now Cold Water. Yes, I do like these songs, but he does such interesting and varied music usually, but I can just see it now that he's going to stick to the Lean On formula for all his mainstream releases now. ![:(](http://www.atrl.net/forums/images/smilies/images/smilies/frown.gif)

Honestly, The Chainsmokers feel about as big as Major Lazer now. They've seen roughly equal success on on-demand streaming as well as radio. I actually thought both groups had decent chances at being one-hit wonders, but they have sustained great ODS and have been able to score high-profile collaborations.

I'm sorry if my previous post was misleading but I meant that someone else should be the feature on Closer. I see now that that was not made clear. ROZES truly completed the song, I don't think it would be the same without those vocals.
But if any singer would have success on Closer, the last person I would want is Hasley, God I can't stand her. I wish it would've been like Tove Lo or Alessia Cara aka someone who deserves the success of the song.

ML has Always felt more global (pretty much infuses "World Music" alot in their songs) while chainsmokers feels alot more american-centred in their sound. i wouldn´t call them EDM either
