What happened Sunday happened and she probably connected it to a song she's already clearly finished. It probably touched her and she decided to release it to help the victims.

Criticize Xtina for what you want but not for her support of LGBTQ. The first time I ever saw two men kiss on TV was in the Beautiful video and it made me realize there were people out there that supported me. I have no doubt many felt the same way.

It's a charity single and she has been sit on it the whole time. She also said wanted to do more than just send a tweet about Orlando, so here it is. And she doesn't care about charts/sales.
