We now have our second banned song. Dancing On My Own has been eliminated from the competition finally, but unfortunately, it was the only shot for that song, as it represents Hurricane David. The storm, in 1979, ravaged the island of Dominica at Category 4 strength, slammed into the Dominican Republic at Category 5 strength, and would later make landfall in the US at Category 2 strength in Florida and Category 1 strength in Georgia. It killed over 2,000 people and costed over a billion dollars in damages. David was retired following this storm and replaced with Danny in 1985.
