It doesn't matter. If Adele nor her label has said any of these things, then I will decide to not believe them until officially confirmed. It's practically certain that Adele will sing the Bond theme, but this "biggest digital single of all-time" is a tall tale, and it hasn't come directly from them. I doubt they are setting themselves up for that type of failure.
And no, this isn't a Born This Way situation because Adele herself never said anything about this being "the song of our generation" and her manager never said "this would sell 30 million copies." All of this is coming from insiders, so let's not get it confused.
