That's definitely arguable, the USA's military spending/influence/allies are completely incomparable to even China (who you can clearly tell would not side with Russia in this case if you have any idea of what's going on) who it literally spends like 4.5x as much as on military spending. Russia would have the moral backing of a few of the -stans (which are completely negligible) but even that's questionable because of the impact of policies such as One Belt, One Road and the completely overwhelming level of anti-Russian power in this instance.

We don't like Turkey but we both need their support and would be obliged to help, Russia can't compare militarily or economically. Keep up with geopolitics.
