This album is better than I could've imagined. I'm actually pleasantly surprised because after hearing Breakfast and More & More I was expecting this to be an album full of fillers. Proud of her
I was expecting more of the album but I didn't like it as much as Sex or her performance skills. I admire how cohesive it us, yet every track has a personality. The only ones I liked are Sax, Breakfast, Paris, Baby don't dance, and the best track of all: Tears Will Dry.
1. Sax - 10/10
2. Breakfast - 10/10
3. More and More - 10/10
4. Gold Watch - 10/10
5. Love Me or Leave Me Alone - 9/10
6. Paris - 8/10
7. Kitchen - 10/10
8. Over Getting Over - 9/10
9. Baby Don't Dance - 9/10
10. Tears Will Dry - 7/10
11. Never Say When - 10/10
12. Like That - 8/10
13. Serious - 9/10
14. Know Your Name - 8/10
15. Uptown Funk - 5/10 (I still live for her performance of this but this lacks too much on its own)
16. Girl On Fire - 7/10
A lot of these 9s have potential to move up to 10. Slay me queen of music.
The album gave me a really good first impression. I'll see which tracks will grow on me when I listen again. Paris is the standout for me right now but that could change.
