I agree, but the way it was stated was just...

Community college is way, way more affordable and provides the same information, it just ends after 2 years instead of going all the way through to a bachelor's. I actually did dual credits at my community college and take summer classes there. Classes in math.

yea basic probability is, I'd argue that even the more complex stuff is necessary to make proper sense of our existence. like distribution curves and geometry. Most of it has implications for our reasoning, but not all of it. Like calculus lol

Tell that to doctors, accountants, bankers, scientists, teachers, researchers, architects, and the hundreds of other professionals that use math on a daily basis.

Math is the one skill you need to master in your life. You don't need to be a rocket scientist but you need the basic essentials or you won't survive.

Want examples?

Come to my store and I will ring you up for that candy bar, $100 or something less obvious short change you.

Do you like to show up to places on time? Then you better know how to calculate time forwards and backwards. Hours, Minutes, Seconds, Days, Months and Years but you already know this.

Do you drive? Do you understand the concept of distance and velocity? I know you do.

That's just a few things I'm not going to publish a wall of text on all the thing you don't realize you are doing on a daily basis that involves math.
