Anyways, this can be seen as a good thing for consumers/accessibility but it's Apple for God's sake. They would've went full on with the promo (i.e Drake) plus at least you guys will have an excuse if it underperformed

Drake is a very rare exception. They don't pull all the stunts like that for most artists who give them exclusives.

I always hated exclusives so I'm kind of glad. However, Gaga's streaming power is disastrous. I hope in some way Apple can keep up the banners and promos as part of the deal, but remove the 'exclusive' part just so that they don't get into legal problems.

This is another good thing for Gaga. When her contract leaked, it showed that Gaga gets nothing from streaming. Literally nothing. But if the deal with Apple was inked before UMG's sudden decision, I doubt they can't fight against it.
