Not in that way. We're talking about the way it's used.
If someone ask you to go to the mall but you say "I can't," then that's not a problem. (DUH!)
But if you say, "I saw that movie. It was funny as hell. I can't!" most people would look at you dumb.
We use it in the laughing context OR when we see something weird going on. But, oh well, I have no problem with gay people at all so I will keep being myself.
