One of the victims tried to stop him, tried to reason with him, and he replies with "No. You rape our women, and are taking over our country." These supremacists, their flawed logic, and their double standards make my stomach turn.
R.I.P. to the victims, a pastor, a librarian, a recent college graduate, a teacher, etc.
I saw a picture of this...thing being brought out with a bullet proof vest and no handcuffs. What? Why is this maniac being treated so well when he brutally murdered nine human beings??? ? ?? And all the black victims that were SHOT by cops who's crimes weren't even a tenth of the severity of this one? I feel so sad for these families that had to endure this while at a freaking church. But people die everyday. What makes me even angrier is the motivation this racist ****er had and the way he was treated afterwards, and the fact that conservatives are trying to skew this into anything else than what it is: a hate crime. We're living in dangerous times, and I'm afraid things are only get worse.
And I swear, if this guy gets a lenghty trial and ends up getting away with it or gets put in a mental facility I will lose every ounce of respect I might have had for our judicial system. Disgusting.
He was handcuffed but yeah this is getting out of control. It seems like America is regressing every day, sadly.
I somewhat get that nu kid. That guy was raised that way but it gives him no reason to kill innocent people. I guess everyone has mental illness to some extent. I don't even know what to say. He was an adult and he should've known better but at the same time he was raised like that probably. It's like homophobic or any other man phobic people.
I also wonder why it's just recently showing cases like these. After that Zimmerman thing. Like people have always been racist infancy it was worst in the past so has the media been covering this? Cuz if we compare this young generation to grandparents you'll see a giant ass different in racial tolerance.

Because it's 2015 (40+ years after the Civil Rights Act) and we still have to deal with this type of stuff. It's ridiculous. These type of incidents need to keep being mentioned so people can wake up.

It never went underground, the rise of social media has just made these discussions more prominent and forced traditional media to notice---every single one of these cases first came to attention on Twitter.
It should also be noted that hate group activity has substantially increased since Obama has become president. Certain white people feel like they've lost their grip on power with his presidency and increased hate group activity is the result.
And honestly. HONESTLY. This whole thing about younger people being significantly less racist than their parents/grandparents is a myth imo. It just manifests differently. I might have been willing to believe this before but social media has shown me otherwise. Stay woke.
His parents are the WORST. Like... they knew this boy was... off. They knew he had drug problems. They knew he'd been arrested on drug charges... and STILL they thought a gun was the perfect birthday present.
And yet, two weeks ago, they did a lot of research to put all the blame on the black kids that were physically abused by that cop during the McKinney pool incident.
I saw this on Facebook. Very interesting comparison about the treatment of the two. Apparently, some people are really trying it by saying that the guy on the left was treated gently because he "cooperated and didn't resist arrest".
The awkward and annoying thing is that the murderer on the left literally fled the scene of a crime which he committed, and travelled 220 miles to avoid cops who were specifically looking to arrest him. Yet somehow, to some people, he didn't resist arrest and cooperated.
