The album is still amazing and miles above most pop albums we've had in a long time.
"Shake it out" "What the water gave me" and "No light, no light" are easily the highlights that keep up with the high standarts of "Lungs".Florence still knows how to use her amazing voice and her songwriting is just as good as on the debut.Most of the album is miles above average for example the epic songs like "Heartlines" and "Seven Devils".For some reason the remix of "Spectrum" sounds way more appealing to me than the original which,definitly stand out on the album but not in a overly positive way. Not very good are imo "Lover to lover" and "Breaking Down".Both lose the huge opportunity the verses offer in rather bland choruses.
Overall I'd rate Ceremonials a 8/10 (while Lungs is probably a pretty perfect 10/10 ).
I hope on the next record she goes back to more organic sounds such as "Drumming song" "Cosmic love".
She's still one of the most interesting artists out there right now and I am excited for her future material.

But seriously, Ceremonials is miles better imo. Lungs is soo all over the place. It has good songs like DDAO, Rabbit Heart, Cosmic Love and Drumming Song but the rest is pure trash
I use every track on Ceremonials
The only song I don't use is Remain Nameless
Even the deluxe songs slay
I agree with you on Spectrum, never liked the album version. What I love from Ceremonials is the heavy and big production it has, the magical atmosphere you feel from start to finish. Only If For A Night, Shake It Out, What The Water Gave Me, Never Let Me Go, Leave My Body, Strangeness & Charm >>>>>>>>>
She said she's taking a year off so I don't expect anything from her this year
WW sales are nice, I just don't get why it flopped in the UK
