It will simply depend on district policy.
They cannot be tried in family court because at worst, they were harassing her - harassing is a violation, but not a felony or misdemeanor. I doubt police can find charges, even if they wanted to.
Basing it on my school district, if this was their first time, they'd get some in-school suspension and bus privileges revoked. They would also need to attend after school sessions on bullying for at least a few months.
If this was a recurring thing, state law (Texas) require the bully to be removed from the school where the victim attends (in this case, works). They would need to attend another nearby school and parents would have to provide transportation.
The public is out for blood on these kids - districts also tend to try and reach peaceful solutions, but in this case, the public is watching, so they have to issue the strictest allowed punishment. That said, this district might withhold the highest punishment given that the kids are already being punished socially - death threats, etc. We don't know the names of the kids, but class mates have already spread names around so it's a matter of time. Hell, I'm surprised 4-chan hasn't done anything.
