Yeah, that must be why she's sold 1m tickets to the artRAVE, 2.5m copies of ARTPOP, 3m copies of 'Applause', 2m copies of 'DWUW', landed on Forbes' Celeb 100, landed on Forbes' Most Powerful Women list, and continues to be talked about every single day.
And talking about overall sales is not "living in the past". Overall sales include sales from this current era. If talking about overall sales is "living in the past", then Madonna's sales can't be used to call her the Queen of Pop, Britney's sales can't be used to defend her against people shading her for becoming a Vegas act, and people can't defend Rihanna since she hasn't had a solo hit song in nearly two years.
This is just another high-profile, multi-million dollar performance that she's doing. Just like with SXSW and the performance in London, she's making yet another $2m to perform for an hour or so. Only someone who's irrelevant can do that.
Why does Gaga's success bother so many people? It's not Gaga's fault she's sold so many records with so little albums released. Blame the public for spending their coins on her.

What is this though? Is it a special concert for microsoft employees or was it part of the artrave schedule
Considering none of us knew about this and she's performing for a bunch of Microsoft employees, I'm gonna say it's just another private show and that she's just using the artRAVE set up because she's already on tour.
