Okay, Not Afraid might be have the success. It is he first single of the "recovery" massive success.BUT, too bad it is overshadowed with his next single "love the way you lie". LTWYL was Eminem's most successful song since Lose Yourself and even have 5 grammy nomination for that song (though Not afraid had won 1 award that night) but still LTWYL was bigger breakthrough from him. But i'm not saying that Not Afraid was a failure comeback, it just less memorable than LTWYL imo

Okay, i kinda torn between 2 thoughts about this song. First it is actually a britney’s comeback here since her last album (I guess it takes 3 years, but CMIIW). The song is not that bad commercially and really an anticipated comeback. And the “it’s Britney bitch” is one of her trademark now. That’s the positive. Meanwhile, this song had a negative impact too. Her performance in VMA’s opening was a disastrous. Her video of gimme more, at least for me was one of the worst from all her videos, and she still had a meltdown when she released this song and album. So it’s really confusing to rate this song tbh. :Katie: Okay, though womanizer for me is her biggest comeback (especially after her meltdown) but this song does make an impact for popular culture.

I never thought you will send this MoS. This is hands down my favorite entry from the bunch! I’m not going to be biased because I love rock and RHCP, but this comeback had a story behind it. RHCP was really success with her Blood Sugar Sex Magic. And then the trouble of the band came when their guitarist John Frusciante left the group and they made a dark album “One Hot Minute” in 1995 which was really flop commercially (just sold 8 million copies worldwide). TBH, I really surprised with their comeback. Out of nowhere, then this song was released after they said that they went hiatus in 2009. And they did it. It was a nice comeback from them and it gives the fans really happy. They even had their no.1 album after they had a flop era in Folie à Deux.
