Most things will transfer over. The only thing we may archive are threads several years old. Our database is bloated with all of that content.

Does "Most things" include our Notepad & Blogs? Because I can't afford to lose some of the stuff I have on there.
And I do remember it was once said that the new site would look somewhat familiar-- I'm guessing that's no longer accurate since we've moved on from vBulletin? Oh, well. Hoping it's for the best.

Yes, all those things get transferred over. If we were to get rid of any of that content, it would only be for accounts that have been permabanned or just inactive for 5+ years.

I loved going through old threads from several years ago.. i mean that's history and seeing people's reactions from certain events is the coolest thing

Ha, it'd be a trip having a member who hasn't signed in since 2009 suddenly 'log in' to only see they have to re-register.

Yes, please keep all of the base blogs. The ANIMALS base blog (run by me ) has like 400 pages full of memories from all of us. It would depress me if they were to all be lost.
Our blog's messy titles (I'm betting on) was one of the reasons blogs got a rule update.
