Nick Jonas was able to get two top 15 SOLO hits this year while Rita hasn't even gotten a top 40 in the US
Not to mention he's much more known, was apart of the Jonas Brothers, etc. If Rita is performing on the main stage, they should've let Charli XCX perform on the main stage last year (who also has a top 10 hit).
This is an American show, so international stats don't matter. Whatever she does in the UK isn't relevant.
