A cop was just shot and killed in a routine traffic stop they take everything seriously. They don't make the assumption that you won't flick the cigarette in their face and reach for a gun. Explain to me how the cop can read the intentions of anyone they pull over? They don't have the luxury of letting their guard down.

Oh boo hoo. It's a tragedy when ANYONE gets shot and killed. How do you think the countless innocent black men and women's families feel about cops killing their loved ones for no reason? How do you think black people feel every single time they come into contact with a cop? Blacks don't make the assumption that cops WON'T whip out their gun and light their ass up under the guise of "being afraid for their life". Explain to me how a black man can read the intentions of any cop that pulls them over? They don't have the luxury of letting their guard down.
Your "argument" works just as well for the ACTUAL victims in these cases when you flip it around. Just because someone killed a cop at a traffic stop doesn't give cops the right to profile people or act like a tyrant with a power trip every time they pull someone over.

You don't think they hear that crap constantly? The last thing a cop wants to here after he asks you to do something is why.

Well that's too mother-****ing bad.
It's not illegal for someone to ask why they are being detained or arrested, let alone why they're being ordered to put their cigarette out. She's in her own vehicle, not on private property, she doesn't have to put her cigarette out. And it's a terrible precedent to set when you suggest that you should always do whatever a cop tells you to do JUST because they said to do it and no other reason.
This cop was clearly on a power trip and didn't like the fact that this black woman was questioning him and getting sassy. The simple fact that he egged her on by asking her if she was annoyed, and then proceeded to egg her on after she truthfully answered his question just proves that point even more. Being sassy and having an attitude is not against the law, and if he was really trying to "de-escalate the situation" he would have never even pressed her about why she sounded annoyed in the first place unless he was looking for trouble.
Some of you in here are seriously some of the most vile, disgusting human beings I've had the displeasure of communicating with.
It's no wonder minorities don't get any god damn respect in this country, because people like you go around enabling and excusing all the THUGS like this troglodyte pig in uniform. **** all the way off. Mods feel free to warn me idc. I'm so sick of this happening every week and like clockwork there's ALWAYS some racist ****s running around coming up for legit excuses as to why the blacks deserved what was coming to them.
"Because if they just hadn't ____, or if they had just _____, or if they had just been _____, or if they had just done _____, they would still be alive and they could've just wasted all their money fighting in the courts because we all know that ALWAYS works out in our favor!"
