Im not homophobic i have more than a few gay family members.im all for the gays and there rights but marriage is crossing the line.sorry my opinion.
I wasn't aware you created the laws of marriage. Crossing the line is most HETEROSEXUAL couples divorcing and getting remarried several times a year. Kind of a slap in the face to God, right?
HOWEVER. (For those who do believe in God)
What i don't get is the gay people that go to church. YES, God loves EVERYONE. BUT. homosexuality is still a sin, according to the bible. God loves gay people, he loves everyone, he created us but he doesn't love the sin.
It's like your parents may love you but they won't love the fact that you stole or something.
So is stealing, lying, judging, cheating, etc etc, and all of the people who commit those sins also go to church just like gays do, so what is your point?
The only thing that is against gay marriage in the world today is the bigots and homophobes of society.
Lets really tell it because i still see people not throwing rocks at a child going out doing whatever the hell the want and disobeying the parent.
I'm still not seeing people being punished for having sx before marriage.
I'm still not see people drop them crawfish plates with they greedy asses so lets not even pretend religion is the real deal.
People are just ugly and ignorant and only want to call something an 'abomination' because its something THEY THEMSELVES can't take.
No one's personal beliefs are more important than an individual's civil liberties--which include the right to marry. Religious arguments have no place in discussion on the matter, as the United States recognizes a pronounced separation between church and state. America is NOT a Christian nation (even though there are plenty of denominations of Christianity that bless and recognize same-sex marriages)...
for someone to deny rights to ever human being is IGNORANT, so yes, if you're against GAY RIGHTS you're ignorant.
It isn't policy to LOVE GOD, it's a choice, I happen to love God but I also love men, that's my choice and I am entitled to it and I should have the same rights as anyone else..
Did you read my post?
God DOES love gay people. He loves everyone he created. BUT, he doesn't love the sin.
Like i said.... your parents love you but they won't love the fact you stole or something like that.
Being gay isn't a choice though. Better example would be a parent with a blind baby that dislikes the fact that it's blind - even though the baby can't help it.
