Cause the players gonna play, play, play, play, play
And the haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate
(....)
Heartbreakers gonna break, break, break, break, break
And the fakers gonna fake, fake, fake, fake, fake
Oh-ooh-whoa-ooh-oh-oh
I'm gonna say things like, "Shut up and kiss me!"
Oh-ooh-whoa-ooh-oh-oh
Tonight I'm gonna lose some things
Don't play me, just kiss me.
If you wanna party, put your hands up
Put your hands up put your hands up
Don't play me, just kiss me.
Oh-ooh-whoa-ooh-oh-oh
Tonight I'll say things, don't play me, just kiss me, babe
Really? I've always thought it made sense. When the protagonist faces "death" she wants to do it with a life fully lived and in the best of moods -- not regretful and downtrodden by some jerk.
hit the nail on the head tbh not a dumb lyric at all.
Definitely not the dumbest but from a recent song this pops out:
(Worse Things Than Love - Timeflies & Natalie La Rose)
Whenever we get together it's like hell yeah
I'm feeling fresher than the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
And, girl, if it ain't about you then I don't care
No, I don't care
When I saw her
Walking down the street
She looked so fine
I just had to speak
I asked her name
Then she turned away
When she walked
All that I could say was
Mmmm mmm yeah yeah
mmmm mmm yeah yeah
Like wat even.... sounds like a 4th grader wrote it for an English assignment
"And we can do drugs and we can smoke weed and we can drink whiskey
Yeah, we can get high and we can get stoned
And we can sniff glue and we can do E and we can drop acid" - Devil Pray by Madonna
